History & Goals
Philanthropy has always been at the heart of United Church Homes and Services. Generous individuals and organizations with a passion for our mission have supported Campus and Resident Life Enrichment projects as well as Benevolence. The Benevolent Endowment supports residents with the greatest financial needs on each campus.
Planned Giving
It's no secret that the programs of United Church Homes and Services Foundation are enriched with your goodwill and financial support. We've created a simple to use web program to help you dream a little, about our future and yours. There are several giving options from which you can choose - strategies that enhance your personal well being, and benefit residents through your generosity.
Make a Donation
Each year the UCHS Foundation supports programs and special projects that enrich the lives of residents. For more information on Foundation funded projects, call us at 828-464-8264. We have many stories to share and your donations make that possible. We are grateful for your on-going and generous support of our ministry. Thank you.
Julius Society
The Julius Society is named in honor of Julius W. Abernethy, whose generosity as one of our founding fathers brought this ministry into being. Julius Society members have made a commitment to provide a legacy gift to United Church Homes and Services. These generous individuals are recognized on our donor walls and in the UCHS Annual Report.
Trustees
The UCHS Foundation's success is in large part a credit to our Board of Trustees. The board is filled with people with outstanding qualifications and strong dedication to improving the lives of our residents and employees. Their primary goal is to tell our story with enthusiasm.
