For over 40 years, philanthropy has been at the heart of United Church Homes and Services. All who are associated with this ministry know that it would never have come into being without generous donations. The initial gift of Julius and Mae Morrison Abernethy literally made possible the initial dream of United Church Homes and Services in 1971. Gifts from generous individuals have always made quality care and services available to many who would not otherwise been able to afford them.

The mission of United Church Homes and Services Foundation is to solicit, safeguard and disburse funds in support of the charitable work and ministry of United Church Homes and Services with special emphasis on financial assistance for current and future residents and staff.
